Patient Procedure Guides

Flexible Bronchoscopy
Bronchoscopy is a procedure for visualizing the inside of the airways for diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic treatment. An endoscope, called a bronchoscope, is inserted into the airways allowing the practitioner to examine a patient's airways for abnormalities such as bleeding, tumors, and inflammation.
Flexible Cystoscopy
Cystoscopy is a procedure for visualizing the urinary bladder via the urethra for diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic treatment. An endoscope, called a cystoscope, is inserted into the urethra to examine the patient’s lower urinary tract for abnormalities such as bladder tumors, incontinence, and hematuria.
Flexible Transnasal Esophagoscopy
(Transnasal) Esophagoscopy is a revolutionary procedure offering visualization of the pharyngeal, laryngeal, and esophageal anatomy. A small diameter endoscope, called an esophagoscope, is inserted through the nose and allows the practitioner to examine a patient’s esophageal anatomy without sedation. This allows a practitioner a simple methodology for examining areas affected by acid reflux.
Flexible Laryngoscopy
Flexible Laryngoscopy is a procedure for visualizing the upper airway segments for diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic treatment. An endoscope, commonly referred to as a flexible ENT scope, is inserted into the nasal passage, allowing the practitioner to examine a patient’s pharynx and larynx for indications such as hoarseness, swallowing disorders, and cough.
